Tagline: Your friends are moving on. You're figuring out how to move forward.

Full Description: NEXT STOP is an audio sitcom by Eric Silver for Multitude. It’s about your mid-to-late 20s when everyone is changing around you—and you worry that you might not catch up. When longtime roommates Cam and Ally search for someone to replace their newly engaged former roommate, they stumble upon the iconoclast and ridiculous Samuel Clemens. Across its ten-episode first season, NEXT STOP follows these roommates’ trials through work, relationships, friendships and more.

Origin Story: “A lot of what is going into these scripts happened to me in the last few years. I was right out of college, figuring out what it was like to live in an apartment and keep my bank account from hitting zero. I thought I was going to be an English teacher and got a graduate degree and a job for it. Then I realized I had some choice in the matter, and I wanted to do something completely different. From there, it’s been a joyful struggle to get to where I am, and I have joyfully struggled alongside my roommates.

“The moment I knew I was in my late-twenties was when my longtime friend moved out of our apartment. He had taken a job in California had three weeks before he left. Quick turnaround, but I guess that's what happens. He then scheduled six roommate interviews to fill his room in a row. My other roommate and I couldn’t say no; it was weird and uncomfortable and threw our entire Sunday way, but we needed someone to pay the rent. They were all terrible—one guy was twenty minutes late because he had to get a sandwich and was eating that sandwich as he checked the gas in our stove—but we had to do it.

“I’m telling you this story because this is pretty much happened. Sure, it’s exaggerated because stories get exaggerated, but it should feel believable. I don’t want to write a nostalgic story about my early 20s, or about how I’m going to maybe have kids and change in my 30s. I am writing about the turbulent time in my mid-20s when people are changing around me.“ -Eric Silver, writer and creator of NEXT STOP

Theme SonG

So why don’t we enjoy the ride

Who’s really got a perfect kind of life?

We’re getting it right in our own time

I think we’re gonna find ourselves a way

No rush, we’re getting through the day

I think we got a place where we can stay
